Hearing and Vision Screening

Hearing and vision screening is usually done during the school year in the following grades - First, Third, Fifth, Seventh, and Tenth.

Screening is also done any other time or in any other grades at the request of the parent or teachers if a problem is noticed.

Regardless of when MCS Hearing and Vision Screening is just that - a SCREENING.  These tests are very basic and cannot be substituted for regular check-ups by a physician.

If a problem is identified during the screening, a note will be sent home to parents.  This note will notify parents of the results of the screening and refer the child to a doctor and/or Optometrist.
