From the Superintendent
Another year is coming to an end. Although many of us may have had numerous wins or losses, on the whole, it has been a different year than we expected. I recently was reading an article and one line really stood out to me; “You either quit or finish. They are both hard. Reread this.”
With that statement in mind, I thought about what I wrote to you one year ago. I asked you to think about the wins that you had. I wanted you to acknowledge any win no matter how small it was; to try and build upon your successes. That message still is valid, but now I want you to be thinking about my statement. Sometimes finishing something you are doing will be hard, but we all know it is worth it. Not completing it may be “easy” at the time but in the long run, it is not what is best for you and your growth. Your wins will help propel you into the new year, a new chapter, a new beginning. Always remember this.
On behalf of the school, I want to thank all of you for your continued support this past year. It was not always easy, but we kept our eye on the prize and in the best interests of the students. We would not have accomplished any of this without you. Have a wonderful December and a great holiday season!

"Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It's quite simple, really: Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn't at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, so go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that's where you will find success."
